Metamorphosis. I've been holding this word in my thoughts as I witness the overdue awakening of our nation. I've long loved the idea of metamorphosis, and the way such change begets new life and beauty. Through the metamorphosis of our nation I will continue to do what I do best: color my sliver of the world with hope, beauty, and love, while keeping my dedication to furthering change at the forefront of my thoughts, speech, and actions.
Designed as a symbol of change, each butterfly in this necklace symbolizes a moment in life when a challenge was met head on, and the result was an increase of endurance, hope, and beauty.
This necklace is made of delicately carved tourmalines that form the exquisite butterfly wings. Surrounded by rows of brilliant white round pave diamonds and set in 18k gold, these butterflies seem to be floating on air as they catch light.
